General<\/u><\/em><\/p>\n

In order to fly between sunset and sunrise, a pilot must hold a VFR Night Rating. This rating allows a safer flight during limited daylight hours.<\/p>\n

For the VFR Night Training we offer Cessnas 152 and 172, which are the safest planes in their class. Cessna engines have the longest time intervals between inspections, which are assigned for the most reliable power plants. There are over 100,000 Cessna planes in use around the world.<\/p>\n

Preconditions<\/u><\/em><\/p>\n

Before the pilot starts the VFR NIGHT training, he must know by memory the location of all indicators, switches, levers and navigational aids in the cockpit. VFR Night training can be performed by PPL(A) student pilots towards the end of their training program or PPL(A) holders.<\/p>\n

Pilot must also hold a Class II medical certificate.<\/p>\n

Training <\/u><\/em><\/p>\n

The VFR Night rating includes a theoretical course comprising 8 hours of lectures followed by practical course.<\/p>\n
